Why Maintenance Matters
No equipment on board lives harder. Cylinders and chrome rods work submerged in salt water, seals dry and score, anodes deplete, guide pads and tracks wear until platforms rack and bind, and position sensors corrode until a lift no longer knows where it is. Because these systems carry people and tenders, scheduled care, fluid analysis, seal and rod inspection, anode replacement, track lubrication, sensor testing and periodic load checks is a safety program, not just upkeep.
